Paramount Crafts – A Legacy Woven in Tradition and Trust

Our story began in 1999 with a simple quilt and a bold idea. What started as a small eBay listing by our founder, soon turned into a lifelong journey of discovery, craftsmanship, and global appreciation for the art of handmade carpets.

It all began when one of our early eBay buyers asked if we could source handmade carpets. At the time, we knew little about them — but that question changed everything. Inspired by curiosity and driven by a passion for quality, we began exploring the rich carpet-weaving traditions of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. We sourced our first few carpets, listed them online, and were met with overwhelming appreciation. That success encouraged us to dive deeper — collecting books, studying designs, understanding weaving cultures, and building relationships with weavers directly.

In 2001, Paramount Crafts was officially founded — a name that has since become synonymous with authenticity, trust, and personalized service. Over the past two decades, we’ve traveled extensively to the UK, USA, and Europe, building strong partnerships and a loyal customer base of collectors and homeowners who value the timeless beauty of handcrafted pieces.

Our father — the heart and soul behind this dream — fought a long, 10-year battle with throat cancer. His passing in 2020 left a deep void and set us back in many ways. But his dedication, courage, and vision continue to inspire us every single day. Today, we carry his legacy forward with even greater passion and purpose.  Today, Paramount Crafts is proudly managed by the second generation, with the same dedication to quality and service. We don’t just sell carpets we connect stories, cultures, and craftsmanship across continents.

Our central location in South Asia allows us to work closely with artisans and weavers, ensuring direct sourcing, fair trade, and top-quality pieces. But our commitment doesn’t stop at carpets. Over the years, we’ve expanded into tapestries, handmade garments, tribal textiles, and more, always responding to the unique requests of our customers.
